Encouraged by a close friend, David found and fell in love with Restorative yoga classes at Afterglow.

Afterglow Yoga became his ‘Aum’ and he developed a 3-4x per week practice. With encouragement, he became a 200-hour yoga teacher and is Reiki Level 2 certified.

David specializes in Restorative Yoga, where he likes to incorporate guided meditation and mantras. He offers many healing techniques, creating a practical form of physical healing and spiritual growth.

When you ask David how yoga changed his life, he had this to offer, ‘It’s the first time in a very long time that I put myself first and prioritized my self-care above all else. It allowed me to fully love myself and trust that whatever came my way, while challenging, would make a better version of myself. I have a renewed love for life but most importantly, love of self.’

David finds joy and inspiration in seeing students discover their own personal yoga journey and hopes to nurture and encourage them along their way.

As a spiritual person by nature, who has always practiced the sacred art of Yoga, CJ knew her calling was to take her practice beyond the mat, and branch it out to others, to share the beauty that yoga can be, because it is for everyBody. It’s the perfect prescription for anyone who wants to make a change in their life and energetic change in this world. Yoga handles stress, anxiety, sadness, regret, loneliness, limited range of motion, pain, physical discomfort, and lack of sense of self. Everyone’s journey is different, and can and will evolve over time; Yoga makes the process more tangible, more evolutionary.

As an RYT200 and Level 1 Reiki master trained practitioner, CJ infuses Vinyasa, Hatha, and Ashtanga yoga techniques into her practice, and there are always meditative elements. CJ truly believes that Yoga is for everyBody, so whether you seek a slow flow, heated (power), or all levels, she would love to take you on that journey. Join her and let’s evolve together.
